- I'm a retired police officer, so I was able to finish work quite early in life, (52yrs). I'm a very enthusiastic, but very amateur gardener. Learned the basics from my Grandfather, starting as a young lad nearly half a century ago now. Still learning and trying to pass on the little bit I know.
